Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Skye is renowned for walking and climbing, particularly around the Cuillin and Trotternish Ridge, with their rugged and challenging landscapes. But not all of Skye is like that and does not require the same level of physical fitness. Waternish has some wonderful walks for you to enjoy, which are relatively flat and do not require the same level of physical exertion. We have brought together a few suggestions for you to enjoy on our Walk Waternish Blog and a few others marked on this map.
These are only a few suggestions. We would love to hear how you have enjoyed these walks which you can do by posting on our Facebook Page. Any other suggestions would be most welcome.
Please though remember that this is a crofting community, especially if you have dogs. Keep them well away from any cattle or sheep and keep them on a lead. Please also remember to shut gates. See Scottish Outdoor Access Code
Also please take your rubbish home.
